1. Mumbai Film Festival
It is an international Film Festival is being organised by Mumbai Academy of Moving Image since 1998, this academy is a not for profit organisation, It is chaired by Shyam Benegal and many famous faces of Bollywood including Farhan Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Karan Johar and many more are the trustees of this academy. The festival previews short films of every genre made around the globe every year, With a vision to promote Short Films and to celebrate its Success.
2. Dharamshala International Film Festival
It is an international Film Festival which showcases the best of world cinema including fiction, documentaries and shorts. This film festival has completed its 4th edition successfully in 2015. The Long- time residents of Dharamshala (in Himachal Pradesh) Ritu Sarin and Tenzing Sonam started this film festival with a vision that film fraternity and film lovers from all around the world can interact in the creative and informal way.
3. International festival of Kerala (IFFK)
Chalchitra Academy in Kerela took the initiative to promote films of different languages like Malayalam, Hindi, and English and of different types like documentaries and shorts every year from 1998, With a vision to spread cultural beliefs among the people and with a motto that cinema should contribute for the development of the society. The highlight of the festival is the Golden Crow Pheasant Award given to the Best Feature Film of the Year and INR 15 Lakhs which is shared between the director and the producer.
